Walle

Walle has an 8.6 rating on IMDB. So I openen Walle in HD and had a look. The images were very good. The story was however so incredible dull and superficial that I did not manage to watch it more than half an hour. I rate it a 4 for the quality animations.

Star Wars: Episode II gained speed over Episode I, but still some scenes take too long. Other scenes however go too fast. The special effects are quite good and Natalie Portman raises the rating of the movie with a full point all by herself. Which makes it a 7.5.

Black Hawk Down

Black Hawk Down sucks you into combat situations in the 90s in Somalia. The scenes feel very realistic. Too realistic for me. Saving Privat Ryan is easy compared to this. After almost 2 hours I had seen enough and turned it off. It’s just not my genre. I rate is a 7.

The Prestige is a movie about 2 men performing their magic. Where does the magic take you? And where does the magic stop? The playing is good, the script is original, the atmosphere is strange in a good way. tension is nice. I rate it with an 8.
