Ter ondersteuning van krachttraining en herstel maak ik gebruik van Wei eiwit, vermengd met melk. Wei eiwit is niet goedkoop en zoeken naar de laagste prijs kan daarom snel uit. My girlfriend found herself some nice Carbon Look bottle holders from Cordo which is part of the AGU company for her racing bike. One of the most important aspects apart from the looks is the weight of the holder. This example weighs 44 grams each including the screws. They cost €9,50 each.

Voor je racefiets wil je alleen het allerbeste. Of in ieder geval het beste voor je geld. Dit geldt ook voor binnenbanden. Een binnenband heeft invloed op het gewicht en de rolweerstand van je fiets, op hoe vaak je moet pompen en hoe vaak je lek rijdt.

De wintertriathlon Groningen 2007 was opnieuw een groot succes. Ik ben ontzettend blij met de inzet van de vrijwilligers, sponsoren en leveranciers en het verloop van de dag. Sometimes on “older” bikes I find Shimano groups I didn’t know before. And if i recognized it, I don’t exactly know what quality it is compared with current Shimano groups. Below you find group names in 1997 and in 2006.

Last weekend at last the weather was good while I was biking. Together with my girlfriend and ten other speedskaters from Tjas, I was in Limburg. And it was very very nice. At least we still have got the pictures!

Finally, after a month or 8 I rode my bike. And I loved it! No pain, no problems with the hamstring. I really hope that it will still be good tomorrow. And then maybe… a revisit to the “Ardennen” in Belgium
