Before seeing it you should be aware that Reservoir Dogs is a Tarantino movie. Why do I mention that? Because Tatantino has his own style. The roles in the movie are characteristic persons. Their roles are like a comic book. If one is aggressive, he is really aggressive. If one is the boss, he really is the boss. The power of a Tarantino movie isn’t in realism. It’s in surrealism. It’s in hopping from fictional scene into fictional scene, not with comics, but with real-life actors, which give the scenes more impact on the viewer. Don’t see it as a shocking world-view. See it as humor.
It isn’t my style, but I like the movie nontheless, due to its brilliant scenes. I give it a 7.5.
