Some things never change. During the Crusades, in the Middle Ages, the Christians and Muslims fought about the holy city of Jerusalem. Kingdom of Heaven is located between the second and third Crusade. To make the situation more interesting, a hero (Orlando Bloom) is created. Balian of Ibelin travels to Jerusalem during the crusades of the 12th century, and there he finds himself as the defender of the city and its people. And let’s not forget to put in a beautiful woman (Eva Green).
It’s a nice movie, but for my feeling a lot of scenes were missing, so maybe the 45 minutes longer “Director’s Cut” is better. I give it a 7.
