Penelope Cruz is one of the most attracting women in the Hollywood movie scene. In Volver she’s the absolute center of the movie. And that’s good! She makes the movie worth watching. The strange combination of a very attractive Hollywood star with some unknown mediocre actresses fits in the strange story line. It’s just a strange movie! Not very bad, but definitely not very good either. I give it a 6.
