Nero Burning Rom is the number 1 burning application on the market. This is the result of being the best application on the market some years ago. Burning CDs and DVDs has however become a commodity which a lot of applications are capable of. In the meantime Nero has grown to an enormous software package which can do almost anything related to burning. If you need all these fancy new features, Nero Burning Rom is still the package of your choice.
If however you just want to burn an audio or data cd / dvd, burn an image or copy a disc then the several 100s of MBs is an unnecessary load for your system. Try CDBurnerXP instead. It’s easy, it’s got a low resource footprint and it’s free.
