Vicky (Rebecca Hall) and Cristina (Scarlet Johansson) visit Barcelona for their summer, staying with Vicky’s distant relative Judy (Patricia Clarkson) and her husband, Mark Nash (Kevin Dunn). A Narrator (voice of Christopher Evan Welch) describes the two friends: Vicky is practical and traditional in her approach to love and commitment. Cristina, on the other hand, is spontaneous and unsure of what she wants in life.
Dr. Jeffrey Sachs recommended this movie in a documentary about the famous economist. His recommendation was justified. Woody Allen wrote and directed a masterpiece. This is a movie about life. A movie about dreams. Totally unrealistic but recognizable. Magic shots of magic scenes with magic people in magic settings. Sit back and enjoy.
I rate it with an 8.5
