In Direct Admin accounts can get suspended for various reasons. The account can be overused, the reseller can run out of resources or the account as been suspended by the reseller as it was hacked, the customer did not pay their bill or whatever. The default message that pops up on when you visit the address of a suspended account is:
This account has been suspended.
Either the domain has been overused, or the reseller ran out of resources.
But what if you want to have that changed?
Now for example I suspended an account because the customer did not pay his bill. This has nothing to do with overusage or a reseller to be out of resources. I decided that I wanted to get rid of the second line.
- I opened an SSH session through my Putty client
- I went to the following location: /home/{resellername}/domains/suspended/
- I opened index.html with my favourite editor which is nano
- I removed the second line and saved the file
