Warren Buffett might very well be the most successful investor of all times. Alice Schroeder wrote a book about his life. Where did he come from, how did he start his career and what did he do during his life. The Snowball gives an insight in what sets Warren Buffett apart from “ordinary” people. What are his ideas, what is important to him and what did he accomplish. At the end of the book he hands out a tip on how people should invest their money:”don’t try to beat the market, but buy indices with low costs instead”.
I did not read the book myself, but listened to an audiobook version by Kirstin Potter. The audiobook was excellent and a true must-listen for everybody with an interest in investing and / or Warren Buffett himself.
