Trihotel Rostock

Rostock is a former East German city located at the northern coastline of Germany. Looking for a place to stay we found a hotel called Trihotel Rostock.

The hotel is located 2 km from the city center which is a firm walk. Parking in the city center is quite cheap though. Some parking garages like Deutsche Med only cost €1,- an hour, with a maximum of €4,- a day.
Welness is the key word in the hotel. Customers can use the attached aqua center for free or can make a walk in the “Schweizer Wald”, which is a small piece of forest.

Not very relaxing however is the busy road along which the hotel is situated. Cars make sure you’ll never sleep too deep. And if it’s not the cars that prevent you from resting, then it’s the bed or the ridiculously high room temperature. For which there’s only one medicine; opening the window to the busy road…

The rooms are sufficiently equipped though, especially for the price. The rooms are clean, the shower is fine and wireless internet can be used for free.

If you can stand the heat, are used to traffic noise and don’t care too much for a good bed, the Trihotel is a great deal. Otherwise however, you’d better look further.
