The reasons why I wanted to watch Garden State were simple. First of all, it starred Natalie Portman. Second, it got a decent IMDB rating. Some guy left his home town when he was young, only to return a decade later for his mother’s funeral.

I really liked before sunrise where boy meets girl and only 1 night is the source for a complete movie. It’s sequel, before sunset, tells the story of the same 2 people meeting again 9 years later.

The Dreamers

Ever since I saw Eva Green shining in Casino Royal, The Dreamers was on my list to watch. I enjoyed every time Eva was on the screen, but unfortunately she couldn’t hide the weak script. I rate it with a 6.

Invictus

A Clint Eastwood directed film with Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon in the cast can’t be bad. So Invictus is indeed worth seeing. But it isn’t great either…
